During the General Assembly meeting of the Universities Association of Lebanon (UAOLB) on September 26, 2025, the presidents of member universities elected Professor Elias Warrak, President of the University of Balamand, as the new President of the UAOLB, and Professor Wael Nabil Abdelsalam, President of Beirut Arab University, as Vice President.
